According to eyewitness reports, a woman was also kidnapped during the incident, while a couple narrowly escaped from the attackers.This incident comes barely 24 hours after the killing of Mr. Goodluck Dimkpa, a young father, in Ueken Tai, the ancestral home of the Tai Kingdom, prompting fears of a widening security breakdown in rural communities across Rivers State.Youth leaders and residents are calling for urgent military and police intervention to prevent further bloodshed and restore safety in farming areas now plagued by fear. “Our communities are under siege. Rivers State is bleeding,” said Comrade Kelvin Leba Ndorne, a youth leader who raised the initial alarm on the Ueken Tai killing.
