Title: FG Partners Gender Mobile Initiative to Tackle Gender-Based Violence, Youth Mental Health Date Published: 01 July 2025 Description: The Federal Government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Gender Mobile Initiative to combat gender-based violence, strengthen youth mental health support, and build capacity for national development.At the signing ceremony in Abuja, Minister of Youth Development, Comrade Ayodele Olawande—represented by Permanent Secretary Mr. Olubunmi Olusanya—described the partnership as timely, coinciding with the recent creation of two new departments focused on youth mental health.Olusanya stressed that youth wellbeing goes beyond employment, noting, “When they are psychologically sound, other things like employment and empowerment follow.”Barr.
