Title: ADC Leaders Step Aside as Mark, Aregbesola Take Over Date Published: 02 July 2025 Description: In a major political development ahead of the 2027 elections, top opposition figures including Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, Nasir El-Rufai, and Rotimi Amaechi converged at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja for the unveiling of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as the official platform for a new opposition coalition.At the event, ADC’s founding National Chairman, Ralph Nwosu, announced that party leaders had voluntarily stepped down to pave the way for former Senate President David Mark and ex-Osun Governor Rauf Aregbesola to take charge.
