He will also extend condolences to the government and people of Kano over the passing of the revered philanthropist.Aminu Alhassan Dantata (19 May 1931 – 28 June 2025) was a prominent Nigerian businessman and philanthropist. He was one of the founding promoters of the Kano State Foundation—an endowment fund that supported education and provided grants to small-scale entrepreneurs across the state. He also headed a group of companies managing his vast real estate and other business interests.Dantata served as Kano State Commissioner for Planning and Development from 1967 to 1972.
