As preparations heighten for the 2025 Amaseikumor Festival, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, paid a symbolic visit to Daunimighan Ekpemu—the sacred forest and spiritual home of the Aziza deity in Gbaramatu Kingdom.

Joined by traditional leaders and spiritual custodians, Tompolo led rituals and prayers, seeking divine peace, protection, and blessings for the Ijaw Nation. The visit marks the spiritual kickoff of the festival, reaffirming ancestral ties and invoking the presence of Aziza, the deity of power and peace.
