Popular lawyer and political activist, Deji Adeyanju, has confidently declared that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will not lose the 2027 presidential election, regardless of any alliance between former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Labour Party’s Peter Obi.

Adeyanju made the statement via his verified Facebook page, where he dismissed any chances of the opposition unseating the incumbent president.

“Even if Atiku & Obi are on a joint ticket now, it’s too late. Tinubu will not lose an election Tinubu conduct,” he wrote. “They had their luckiest chance in 2023 but they kept playing to the gallery and entertaining their supporters. And Buhari was ready to work with them.”

The activist suggested that the opposition wasted their golden opportunity during the 2023 elections and implied that the political structure and control of the current administration gives President Tinubu a clear edge heading into 2027.

Adeyanju\'s statement has sparked reactions online, with some agreeing that the opposition remains fragmented, while others believe a united front between Obi and Atiku could still pose a major challenge.

The 2027 elections may still be years away, but the political temperature is already beginning to rise.
