President Tinubu to Visit Lagos for ECOWAS 50th Anniversary, Commission Key Infrastructure Projects

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to visit Lagos State on Tuesday as part of activities marking the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and to commission several critical infrastructure projects.

The President’s visit, which will culminate on Saturday, May 31, will feature the commissioning and flag-off of major road and port developments across the country. Top on the list is the official commissioning of Section I of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway and the Lekki Deep Sea Port Tax Credit Concrete Road.

President Tinubu will also flag off the construction of Section II of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway and the 7th Axial Road, reinforcing his administration\'s commitment to large-scale infrastructure development.

In addition, the President will virtually commission multiple road projects across northern Nigeria. These include:

Kano-Kanwar-Danja-Hadejiya Section II Road

Yakasai-Zalli Road

Kano Northern By-pass

Zaria-Hunkuyi-Dabai Section I

Dabai-Kafur-Malumfashi Road

Malumfashi-Dayi-Yashe-Gidan Mutum Daya Section III

Following the infrastructure events, President Tinubu will observe the Eid-el-Kabir prayers at Dodan Barracks in the State House, Lagos, before returning to Abuja.
