The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially welcomed a new leadership team to its Rivers State office with the assumption of office by the newly appointed Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Prof. Gabriel Yomere, and the Acting Administrative Secretary, Barr. Mark Usulor.

The brief handover ceremony took place at the INEC State Headquarters in Port Harcourt.

Both officials are expected to bring renewed direction and oversight to the commission’s activities in Rivers State ahead of future electoral engagements.
