According to Reza Pahlavi, Iran\'s exiled crown prince, a 100-day transition plan is in place in the event of Khamenei\'s downfall.
Reza Pahlavi, the eldest son of Iran\'s last Shah and former crown prince, declared that a 100-day transitional period has been planned in the event the Islamic Republic regime collapses amidst a conflict with Israel.
In a recent video statement in Farsi, Pahlavi sought to reassure Iranians that opposition forces have a comprehensive plan for the country\'s future.
\"Iran will not descend into civil war or instability,\" he said. \"We are prepared for the first hundred days after the fall, for the transitional period, and for the establishment of a national and democratic government, by the Iranian people and for the Iranian people.\"
Pahlavi also addressed part of his message to the military, police, and state workers, many of whom he stated have recently been in contact with him.
\"Do not stand against the Iranian people for the sake of a regime whose fall has begun and is inevitable,\" he said. \"By standing with the people, you can save your lives...and take part in building the future of Iran.\"
Reza Pahlavi, born on 31 October 1960, is the eldest child of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi and Farah Diba. Mohammad Reza Pahlavi was the last Shah of Iran\'s 53-year-old Pahlavi dynasty.
Reza Pahlavi was officially named Crown Prince of Iran in 1967 at the time of his father\'s coronation. He is the founder and leader of the National Council of Iran, an exiled opposition group, participates in the Iranian democracy movement, and is a prominent critic of Iran\'s Islamic Republic government.
Pahlavi said \"Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is a frightened rat \"The Islamic Republic has reached its end and is in the process of collapsing,\" Pahlavi declared. \"Khamenei, like a frightened rat, has gone into hiding underground and has lost control of the situation.\"
