…Orders Urgent U.s. Probe

President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, has raised serious concerns over what he describes as an “existential threat” facing Christianity in Nigeria, warning that thousands of Christians are being slaughtered by radical Islamist groups.

In a strongly worded statement, President Trump announced the designation of Nigeria as a “Country of Particular Concern,” stressing that 3,100 out of 4,476 Christian killings recorded globally occurred within Nigeria alone — a figure he described as alarming and unacceptable.
Trump revealed that he has directed Congressman Riley Moore, alongside Chairman Tom Cole and the House Appropriations Committee, to immediately investigate the crisis and report back to him with actionable recommendations.
According to the U.S. President, America “cannot stand by” while such atrocities continue unchecked in Nigeria and other countries, adding that the United States stands ready and willing to protect vulnerable Christian populations around the world.
“We must act,” President Trump stated, urging global attention and decisive intervention.
