Nollywood star Regina Daniels has sparked fresh controversy online after hinting at plans to divorce her billionaire husband, Ned Nwoko, as their marital crisis deepens.

The actress, who took to Instagram to flaunt her newly–acquired home, left tongues wagging with a cryptic caption: “I have a roof over my head and the next is divorce.” The post immediately triggered mixed reactions, with many speculating that trouble in the Nwoko household may have finally peaked.

Her statement surfaced just hours after Senator Nwoko boldly defended his polygamous lifestyle during an interview on Channels Television. The politician argued that monogamy is physically and emotionally “unbalanced,” likening it to standing on one leg.

 “Just imagine telling you to stand on one leg, you know how difficult it is. But it is much more balanced to stand on two, three, or four,” he said unapologetically.

Nwoko, who currently has four wives including Regina, maintained he has “no regrets” and would gladly repeat his marital decisions.

The couple’s crisis escalated recently after Regina accused Nwoko of domestic violence in a viral video. The lawmaker, however, refuted the allegations, insisting he treats his wives and children with respect.
