The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church Of God (RCCG), Pastor E.A. Adeboye, on Monday, June 10, 2025, paid a historic visit to the New Alaafin of Oyo Kingdom, in what many have described as a powerful moment of faith and royalty uniting for a divine purpose.

Sharing the moment on his verified Meta page, Pastor Adeboye revealed that he was invited by His Majesty and was accompanied by respected Christian leaders from across Oyo State. The visit was marked by fervent prayers, blessings, and prophetic declarations over the monarch and the entire kingdom.

“I prayed not only for the King but for peace, wisdom, and divine favour upon the entire Oyo Kingdom,” he wrote.

He further prayed that the throne be established in righteousness and that the kingdom flourish under divine grace.

This rare meeting of spiritual authority and traditional royalty is already drawing national attention, as many see it as a prophetic seal over the new king’s reign.
