The coast is getting clearer for the restoration of democratic order in Rivers State as the political leaders involved in the lingering impasse in the State are gradually reconciling their differences with a two-day meeting that held between Wednesday and Thursday .
This is also evident with Gov. Siminalayi Fubara and Minister of the FCT, Chief Nyesom Wike alongside members of the Rivers State House of Assembly, some members of the Rivers State caucus of the National Assembly and elders of the State visiting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Aso Rock late Thursday night to report the extent of their reconciliation.
With this move and further smoothening of relationship amongst the gladiators, there is a possibility that the impasse is coming to an end to enable President Tinubu lift the emergency rule imposed on Rivers State for an unfettered governance and return to the democratic path.
