800 Elite Special Forces Graduate to Strengthen Nigeria’s Fight Against Insecurity

In a major boost to national security, the Federal Government has graduated the first batch of 800 elite Special Operations Forces (SOF) at Camp Kabala in Jaji, Kaduna. Announcing the milestone, Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Mohammed Matawalle, said the move reflects President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to modernizing the military with world-class training and intelligence.

The highly trained troops are set for deployment to high-risk areas like Zamfara, Kaduna, and the North-East. Defence officials, including CDS General Christopher Musa and Permanent Secretary Gabriel Aduda, hailed the development as a strategic step in tackling terrorism, banditry, and insurgency with precision and professionalism.
