The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has extended the tenure of the boards of the NPFL, NNL, and NLO until 29 September 2026, aligning with the end of the current NFF administration led by Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau. 

The decision keeps Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye, Chief George Aluo, and Silas Ali Agara in charge of the respective leagues.

 The NFF, through its director of communications, Dr. Ademola Olajire, praised the boards\' performance over the past two years and called for renewed efforts to improve league standards and global appeal.
